Ed Perry, age 57, was born and raised on a farm and cattle operation near Kimball,NE. He attended Chadron State College in Chadron, NE for four years majoring in forestry and wildlife management. During the summers he worked as a combine operator for a family owned harvesting crew, combining wheat, he married Nyonne in 1972 and they have one child. He owns and operates a ranch raising cow/calf pairs, yearling's, sheep, and alfalfa.
Ed has served on numerous boards and organizations. He served as a board member of the Prairie Center Water district and was an active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for six years. He currently is an active member of the R-CALF USA organization, is a board member of the local Prairie Center fire district, and serves on the Awana Missionary Board for the Zion Evangelical Church in Scottsbluff, NE.
Ed strongly believes in the continuation of family oriented agriculture and the production of safe, United States raised beef. He envisions meeting these goals by advocating with fellow ag producers.
